came to be with us on February 7, 1951, at Winnipeg, Canada. Richard
was called home to be with our Lord, on August 3, 2010, at Long
parents, John George Keil (departed 4/19/2005), and Elise Barbara
Keil (Schmidt) (departed 1/31/2009), were devoted to Richard as
their Gift from God. Their loving care and attention to Richard,
as an integral part of their lives, was unequaled and uncompromising
in its genuineness and completeness; they, all three, were inseparable
in all aspects of their lives, and participated in all facets of
life as a threesome.
siblings, Curtis Winston George Keil, and Marylyn Dianne Keil Stovel,
were indeed blessed to have Richard as their special brother. This
special threesome also was inseparable and intense in the mutual
love, care, and consideration, genuinely shared among them, forming
a bond that was inseparable throughout Richard’s life.
So many other
close family members, and friends, too numerous to mention individually
here, have each, in their own unique ways, been instrumental in
freely and genuinely sharing and giving to Richard an abundance
of love, joy, and caring, enhancing not only Richard’s life,
but theirs equally, if not moreso, in this undertaking. Richard
Godfrey Keil will always be remembered as the wonderful and remarkable
Gift from God, who gave so much joy and love, to so many, in his
own inimitable ways. As mother would always say; “Richard,
you are such a fine young man!” ’Til we meet again,
Richard, be joyful together with the Lord, and with Mom and Dad.
Speak, O Lord, as we come to You
To receive the food of Your Holy Word.
Take Your truth, plant it deep in us;
Shape and fashion us in Your likeness,
That the light of Christ might be seen today
In our acts of love and our deeds of faith.
Speak, O Lord, and fulfill in us
All Your purposes for Your glory.
Teach us, Lord, full obedience,
Holy reverence, true humility;
Test our thoughts and our attitudes
In the radiance of Your purity.
Cause our faith to rise; cause our eyes to see
Your majestic love and authority.
Words of pow’r that can never fail—
Let their truth prevail over unbelief.
Speak, O Lord, and renew our minds;
Help us grasp the heights of Your plans for us—
Truths unchanged from the dawn of time
That will echo down through eternity.
And by grace we’ll stand on Your promises,
And by faith we’ll walk as You walk with us.
Speak, O Lord, till Your church is built
And the earth is filled with Your glory.
Make me to know your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead
me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation;
for you I wait all the day long. Psalms 25:4-5
